A stacking aluminum dining armchair that weighs nine and a half pounds. Kapri is the chair Oxford Garden builds for places that have to put a lot of seats out and take them all in again, and the arms do not cost you much width: 25.25 inches across, with a 16.5 inch seat.
- 9.5 pounds with arms. You can carry two in one hand. That is the difference between setting a terrace in ten minutes and setting it in an hour.
- Stacks for storage. Frames nest, so a season's worth of chairs lives in a corner of a shed rather than filling it.
- A 16.5 inch seat. Slightly lower than a standard dining seat, which suits the relaxed proportions of a bistro or terrace table.
- Powder coated marine grade aluminum. Nothing in the frame can rust, and the coating is baked on rather than sprayed so it stays on the corners.

Materials and Construction
Frame. Marine grade aluminum, powder coated. Aluminum does not rust, so the frame does not depend on a coating staying perfect to survive. The powder coat is baked on rather than sprayed, which is why it resists chipping at the joints where outdoor furniture usually fails first.

How does it compare with the Kapri Side Chair?
Same collection, same construction. The armchair is 25.25 inches wide with arms and seats at 16.5 inches; the side chair is 22.25 inches wide and seats half an inch higher at 17. Most people put armchairs at the ends of a table.
Will it blow around in wind?
At 9.5 pounds an empty chair can move in a strong gust, which is the trade for a chair you can carry one handed. On an exposed roof or waterfront, stack and strap them when you are not using them.
