The left hand end of an Eiland modular run: a two seat unit with one arm on the left side and an open right side that butts against a corner seat or an armless section. At 50.25 inches it is the arm loveseat that closes a sectional off.
- One arm, on the left. The right side is open so it meets the next unit flush. Buy it with its opposite hand and you have both ends of a run.
- 50.25 inches. Two and three quarter inches wider than the armless section, which is the arm itself. The seat inside is the same 48 inch cushion.
- An 18 inch seat, 4.25 inches of cushion. Identical to the corner seat, the armless section and the cushioned club chair, so a mixed run sits level end to end.

The cushion itself does not change with the fabric. The foam, the cover construction and the dimensions are identical; what changes is which Sunbrella fabric book you choose from. Mainstreet Dove is stocked for Eiland. Any other Sunbrella is made to order in the fabric you pick.

Materials and Construction
Frame. Marine grade aluminum, powder coated. Aluminum does not rust, so the frame does not depend on a coating staying perfect to survive. The powder coat is baked on rather than sprayed, which is why it resists chipping at the joints where outdoor furniture usually fails first.
Frame color. The Eiland cushioned deep seating is built in Taupe, powder coat code PC.0100M, rather than the Carbon used on the dining, cord and table pieces. Every piece in the deep seating group shares it, so club chairs, loveseats and modular units match one another.
Cushions. Solution dyed acrylic. The color goes into the fiber before it is spun rather than being printed onto finished cloth, which is why these fabrics hold color in direct sun far longer than a conventional outdoor print.

Care and Maintenance
Cushions. Brush off loose dirt, sponge with mild soap and lukewarm water, rinse thoroughly and air dry. Do not machine dry. Bring cushions in or cover them when the piece is not in use for long stretches.
Powder coated aluminum. Wash with mild soap and water. Avoid abrasive pads and solvent cleaners, which dull the finish. Touch up any deep scratch promptly so salt and grit have nothing to work at.
Off season. The frame can stay outside all year.

The left. Oxford Garden names the hand as you look at the piece from the front, so a left unit puts the arm on your left. The opposite hand is sold as the Eiland Modular Loveseat (Right).
How do I plan a run?
Most people start with one of each hand and put a corner seat or an armless section between them. A left arm loveseat, a corner seat and a right arm loveseat gives an L of about 130 inches on each leg.
Can I put two left arm units together?
Not back to back, no. Two left arm loveseats side by side leave an arm in the middle of the run and an open end at the outside. Pair a left with a right, or bridge them with a corner seat or an armless section.
