Eiland Collection
Eiland Loveseat
The two seat version of the Eiland cord lounge frame: Mocha cord woven over Carbon aluminum, 47.25 inches wide and twenty seven pounds. Like the club chair it is complete without a cushion, and takes one in your choice of fabric if you want it.
- 47.25 inches, twenty seven pounds. Just under four feet of loveseat that one person can reposition. A cushioned aluminum loveseat of the same width runs closer to forty.
- Mocha cord. Woven across the full width of the frame. It flexes where the weight is and drains through after rain instead of holding it.
- A 17.25 inch seat. Two inches higher than the Eiland cord club chair, which is the usual difference between a single lounge seat and a bench seat you share.
- Cushion optional. Bare, or with a Pepper olefin, Mainstreet Dove or made to order Sunbrella cushion on top of the cord.

Materials and Construction
Frame. Marine grade aluminum, powder coated. Aluminum does not rust, so the frame does not depend on a coating staying perfect to survive. The powder coat is baked on rather than sprayed, which is why it resists chipping at the joints where outdoor furniture usually fails first.
Cord. The seat and back are woven in Mocha cord, a synthetic cord used on no other Oxford Garden collection. It is woven over the frame rather than stretched across it as a panel, so it gives where you sit and drains straight through after rain.
Cushions. Solution dyed acrylic. The color goes into the fiber before it is spun rather than being printed onto finished cloth, which is why these fabrics hold color in direct sun far longer than a conventional outdoor print.
What Is Included
- One Eiland Loveseat, Mocha cord seat and back on a Carbon powder coated aluminum frame
- A cushion in the fabric you choose, where a cushion option is selected

Care and Maintenance
Cushions. Brush off loose dirt, sponge with mild soap and lukewarm water, rinse thoroughly and air dry. Do not machine dry. Bring cushions in or cover them when the piece is not in use for long stretches.
Cord. Hose the weave down and let it dry. Cord drains and dries on its own and does not need to come inside. For marks, mild soap and a soft brush worked along the weave.
Powder coated aluminum. Wash with mild soap and water. Avoid abrasive pads and solvent cleaners, which dull the finish. Touch up any deep scratch promptly so salt and grit have nothing to work at.
Off season. The frame can stay outside all year.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need the cushion?
No. The cord seat and back are woven into the frame and the loveseat is finished without one. The bare loveseat is its own option, and the cushioned versions are sold as separate options.
What is the seat woven from?
Mocha cord. It is a synthetic cord woven over the aluminum frame rather than a fabric panel stretched across it. Water runs straight through, so the seat dries fast and nothing has to be carried indoors.
How is this different from the Eiland Cushioned Loveseat?
This is the cord loveseat: 47.25 inches wide, a 17.25 inch seat, twenty seven pounds, Carbon frame, cushion optional. The Cushioned Loveseat is the deep seating piece at 52 inches, an 18 inch seat, thirty seven pounds, Taupe frame, cushions integral.
What is Pepper?
A solution dyed olefin, stocked for Eiland alone. Solution dyed means the color is in the fiber before it is spun rather than printed on finished cloth, which is why it holds up in direct sun.
What is the difference between the fabric choices?
Only the cloth. Foam, cover construction and dimensions are identical. Pepper olefin and Mainstreet Dove Sunbrella are stocked, and any other Sunbrella fabric is made to order.
Can I choose any Sunbrella fabric?
Yes. Any Sunbrella fabric can be made to order. Call 631 678-6506 and we will confirm the fabric before the order goes in.
Will the frame rust?
No. Eiland frames are marine grade aluminum, which does not rust, so the piece does not depend on the coating staying perfect to survive. The powder coat is baked on rather than sprayed, which is why it holds at the joints where outdoor furniture usually fails first.
What color is the frame?
Carbon. It is the finish the Eiland aluminum, cord and table pieces are built in, so the dining, bar and lounge pieces line up with each other across the collection.
How is it delivered?
By LTL freight to the curb with lift gate service, in a carton 48 by 27 by 36 inches at 29 pounds for one and 49 pounds for a pair.
