Eiland Collection
Eiland Cushioned Club Chair
The deep seating club chair in the Eiland range: a Taupe powder coated aluminum frame carrying a 4.25 inch seat cushion and a 17 inch back cushion, at an 18 inch seat height. It is the chair the Eiland modular group is built around.
- An 18 inch seat under a 17 inch back. A genuine lounge chair rather than a dining chair with a pad on it. The 18 inch seat is high enough to stand up from without pushing off the arms.
- Cushions sized to the frame, not laid on it. The seat is 24 by 25.5 inches and 4.25 inches thick; the back is 23.5 by 17 inches. They fill the frame rather than floating inside it.
- Taupe frame, code PC.0100M. The Eiland deep seating group is finished in Taupe rather than the Carbon used on the dining and table pieces, so the lounge group reads as its own set.
- 21.2 pounds. A deep seating chair light enough for one person to move, on a frame that has nothing in it to rust.

Materials and Construction
Frame. Marine grade aluminum, powder coated. Aluminum does not rust, so the frame does not depend on a coating staying perfect to survive. The powder coat is baked on rather than sprayed, which is why it resists chipping at the joints where outdoor furniture usually fails first.
Frame color. The Eiland cushioned deep seating is built in Taupe, powder coat code PC.0100M, rather than the Carbon used on the dining, cord and table pieces. Every piece in the deep seating group shares it, so club chairs, loveseats and modular units match one another.
Cushions. Solution dyed acrylic. The color goes into the fiber before it is spun rather than being printed onto finished cloth, which is why these fabrics hold color in direct sun far longer than a conventional outdoor print.

Care and Maintenance
Cushions. Brush off loose dirt, sponge with mild soap and lukewarm water, rinse thoroughly and air dry. Do not machine dry. Bring cushions in or cover them when the piece is not in use for long stretches.
Powder coated aluminum. Wash with mild soap and water. Avoid abrasive pads and solvent cleaners, which dull the finish. Touch up any deep scratch promptly so salt and grit have nothing to work at.
Off season. The frame can stay outside all year.

Frequently Asked Questions
How is this different from the Eiland Club Chair?
Completely different chair. The Eiland Club Chair is a cord seated lounge chair at a 15.25 inch seat and 15 pounds. This one is the deep seating chair: a cushioned frame at an 18 inch seat, 21.2 pounds, in Taupe rather than Carbon.
What is the difference between the cushion fabrics?
They change the look, not the cushion. The foam, the cover construction and the dimensions are identical. Mainstreet Dove is stocked, and any other Sunbrella is made to order.
Which fabric is stocked?
Mainstreet Dove, code MD, the Sunbrella that Oxford Garden holds for Eiland. Any other Sunbrella is made to order in whatever fabric you choose.
What color is the frame?
Taupe, Oxford Garden powder coat code PC.0100M. Taupe is the finish used on the Eiland cushioned deep seating, so the club chair, the loveseat and the modular pieces all match one another.
Will the frame rust?
No. Eiland frames are marine grade aluminum, which does not rust, so the piece does not depend on the coating staying perfect to survive. The powder coat is baked on rather than sprayed, which is why it holds at the joints where outdoor furniture usually fails first.
Do the cushions stay outside?
The frame can. Cushions last considerably longer if they are stored dry or covered when the chair is not in use for a stretch. Solution dyed acrylic holds its color in sun; it still does better out of standing water.
Which table goes with it?
The Eiland coffee table at 14 inches, four inches below the 18 inch seat, or the Eiland end table at 19 inches, one inch above it.
How is it delivered?
By LTL freight to the curb with lift gate service, in a carton 38 by 29 by 40 inches at 28 pounds.
