Eiland Collection
Eiland Cord Chair Pad
The seat pad for Oxford Garden's Eiland cord arm and side chairs. Same 18 by 19.75 inch footprint as the standard Eiland pad, but built one sided with hook and loop ties underneath for the cord seat. It fits the cord chairs only.
- Fits Eiland cord chairs only. Item code 1EDCH-02 is a one sided pad with hook and loop ties on the bottom, which is how it attaches to a woven cord seat.
- Built for the cord seat. Hook and loop ties on the bottom rather than ties at the back, because a woven cord seat gives you nothing to tie around.
- One sided, one inch thick. It has a finished face and a fastening face, so it goes on one way up and stays there.
- Fabric changes, padding does not. The measurements and the build are the same whichever fabric you choose.

Fabric Options
The pad is the same pad whichever fabric you choose: same measurements, same construction, same shape. What changes is the fabric you are choosing from.

|---|---|

| Other Sunbrella fabrics | Made to order in the Sunbrella fabric you name. |
Materials and Construction
What this is. A cushion, sold on its own. There is no frame in the carton and no hardware. You are buying the cover and the cushion that goes on a piece of furniture you already own.
How it stays on. This is a one sided cushion with hook and loop ties on the bottom. It has a finished top face and a fastening face, so it goes on one way up and holds to the frame instead of sitting loose.
Fabric. Mainstreet Dove is the Sunbrella stocked for Eiland. Any other Sunbrella is made to order in the fabric you name. The pad measures the same and is built the same either way.
Cushions. Solution dyed acrylic. The color goes into the fiber before it is spun rather than being printed onto finished cloth, which is why these fabrics hold color in direct sun far longer than a conventional outdoor print.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is the furniture included?
No. This listing is the cushion by itself, for a piece you already own. There is no frame, no hardware and no other part in the carton. Where our photography shows furniture, it is there to show you where the cushion goes.
What is the difference between the fabric choices?
Mainstreet Dove is the stocked Sunbrella. Any other Sunbrella is made to order in the fabric you name. The pad measures the same and is built the same either way.
How do I clean it?
Brush off loose dirt, sponge with mild soap and lukewarm water, rinse it thoroughly and let it air dry. Do not machine dry it. Rinsing matters more than scrubbing: soap left in the fabric pulls dirt back into it faster than the dirt you just removed.
Can I leave it outside all season?
It is built for outdoor use, but a cushion that lives through every storm will not last as long as one that is covered or brought in. Store it dry and on edge when the piece is out of use for weeks at a time.
Can I order this cushion on its own?
Yes, that is what this listing is. We confirm with Oxford Garden that it ships on its own before the order goes in and before anything is charged.
How do I make sure I am ordering the right size?
Measure your existing cushion, or the seat it sits on, and check it against the dimensions in the table above. If the numbers are close but not exact, send us what you measured and we will check the item code with Oxford Garden first.
How is this different from the standard Eiland chair pad?
Same size, different attachment. Item code 1EDCH ties at the back and fits all Eiland arm and side chairs. This one, 1EDCH-02, is one sided with hook and loop ties on the bottom and fits the cord chairs only.
Can I use it on a non cord Eiland chair?
It is made for the cord chairs only, so we do not recommend it for the others. For those, order item code 1EDCH, the pad with ties at the back.
