Eiland Collection
Eiland Coffee Table
A 42 by 26 inch coffee table at 14 inches high, on the Eiland aluminum frame. It is long enough to serve a loveseat and two club chairs at once, and low enough to reach from a deep seat without leaning forward.
- 42 by 26 inches. Three and a half feet of table across the front of a loveseat, which is the length that lets two people set drinks down without reaching across each other.
- 14 inches high. Four inches below the 18 inch Eiland deep seating line. That drop is what keeps a low table reachable rather than awkward.
- Aluminum top or four HPL colors. The aluminum top is the base configuration. Marshland Oak, Enigma, Skyline and Starlight are non porous laminate, so wet glasses leave nothing behind.
- 27 pounds. Enough to stay put when someone puts a foot on the edge, light enough to slide out of the way.

Materials and Construction
Frame. Marine grade aluminum, powder coated. Aluminum does not rust, so the frame does not depend on a coating staying perfect to survive. The powder coat is baked on rather than sprayed, which is why it resists chipping at the joints where outdoor furniture usually fails first.
Aluminum top. The base configuration is an all aluminum top in the same powder coat as the frame. It is the lightest of the tops and there is nothing on it but the coating.
HPL top. High pressure laminate is layers of paper and resin fused under heat and pressure into one dense sheet. It is non porous, so a wet glass leaves nothing behind, and it holds its color in direct sun. Eiland offers it in Marshland Oak, Enigma, Skyline and Starlight.
What Is Included
- One Eiland coffee table, aluminum frame and legs in Carbon powder coat
- The top in the configuration you choose: aluminum, or high pressure laminate in Marshland Oak, Enigma, Skyline or Starlight

Care and Maintenance
Tops. Wipe with mild soap and water. Neither the aluminum nor the high pressure laminate is porous, so neither needs sealing or oiling and neither will take a water ring. Avoid abrasive pads.
Powder coated aluminum. Wash with mild soap and water. Avoid abrasive pads and solvent cleaners, which dull the finish. Touch up any deep scratch promptly so salt and grit have nothing to work at.
Off season. The frame can stay outside all year.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the base configuration?
The aluminum top, code EDTA. The four high pressure laminate tops are the same table with a laminate top fitted.
What does it pair with?
The Eiland cushioned loveseat and club chair, and the modular pieces, all of which sit at 18 inches. At 14 inches the top is four inches below the seat, which is the usual coffee table drop.
Is it big enough for a full group?
At 42 by 26 inches it serves a loveseat plus a club chair each side. For a larger U shaped group most people add an Eiland end table at the outside corners rather than a second coffee table.
What is HPL?
High pressure laminate. Layers of paper and resin are fused under heat and pressure into a single dense sheet. Outdoors it stays flat, does not silver the way timber does and takes a hot mug or a wet glass without marking. Eiland offers four colors of it.
Will the frame rust?
No. Eiland frames are marine grade aluminum, which does not rust, so the piece does not depend on the coating staying perfect to survive. The powder coat is baked on rather than sprayed, which is why it holds at the joints where outdoor furniture usually fails first.
What color is the frame?
Carbon, Oxford Garden powder coat code PC.C. Carbon is the finish the Eiland aluminum, cord and table pieces are built in, so the dining, bar and lounge pieces line up with each other across the collection.
Can I put my feet on it?
It is a table rather than an ottoman, so we would not sell it as a footrest, but at 27 pounds with a full width frame it is not going to tip if someone rests a heel on the edge.
How is it delivered?
By LTL freight to the curb with lift gate service, in a carton 45 by 28 by 6 inches at 31 to 35 pounds depending on the top.
