The cord seated Eiland bar stool: Mocha cord woven over a Carbon aluminum frame, a 30.5 inch seat and a footrail, at eleven pounds. It is the softer of the two Eiland bar stools to sit on for a long evening.
- Mocha cord. Woven over the frame rather than stretched as a panel, so it gives under you. Oxford Garden uses this cord on Eiland and on no other collection.
- A 30.5 inch seat for a 41 inch bar. 10.5 inches of clearance under the Eiland 36 inch bar table, which is the gap bar height seating is drawn around.
- Eleven pounds. Two pounds under the aluminum version and the lightest bar stool in the collection.
- 23 inches deep with a back. Half an inch deeper than the aluminum stool, which is where the cord back sits behind the frame line.

Materials and Construction
Frame. Marine grade aluminum, powder coated. Aluminum does not rust, so the frame does not depend on a coating staying perfect to survive. The powder coat is baked on rather than sprayed, which is why it resists chipping at the joints where outdoor furniture usually fails first.
Cord. The seat and back are woven in Mocha cord, a synthetic cord used on no other Oxford Garden collection. It is woven over the frame rather than stretched across it as a panel, so it gives where you sit and drains straight through after rain.

Care and Maintenance
Powder coated aluminum. Wash with mild soap and water. Avoid abrasive pads and solvent cleaners, which dull the finish. Touch up any deep scratch promptly so salt and grit have nothing to work at.
Cord. Hose the weave down and let it dry. Cord drains and dries on its own and does not need to come inside. For marks, mild soap and a soft brush worked along the weave.
Off season. The frame can stay outside all year.

What is the seat woven from?
Mocha cord. It is a synthetic cord woven over the aluminum frame rather than a fabric panel stretched across it. Water runs straight through, so the seat dries fast and nothing has to be carried indoors.
Which table does this stool suit?
The Eiland 36 inch square bar table at 41 inches tall. A 30.5 inch seat leaves 10.5 inches of clearance. For the 34 inch counter table you want the Eiland Counter Stool instead, at a 23 inch seat.
How is it different from the Eiland Aluminum Bar Stool?
The seat and back are Mocha cord instead of pierced aluminum. It is two pounds lighter at eleven pounds, half an inch deeper at 23 inches, and a quarter inch lower overall. Both sit at 30.5 inches.
