Eiland Armless Chaise Lounge
An armless sling chaise on a powder coated aluminum frame, 80.5 inches long and twenty five pounds. No arms means you get on and off it from either side, which is what you want at the edge of a pool rather than in a seating group.
- 80.5 inches, no arms. Six foot eight of lounger with both sides open. Swinging your legs off sideways is the normal way to get out of a poolside chaise and an arm gets in the way of it.
- Twenty five pounds. One person follows the sun around a deck with it all afternoon. A teak chaise of the same length is closer to fifty five.
- Sling, so nothing comes indoors. The sling drains and dries on its own. There is no pad to carry in when it rains and none to blow into the water.
- A 15 inch seat with a 43.25 inch back. Low and close to the deck, with a back that raises well past upright so it works for reading as well as lying flat.

Sling Colors
Every sling color is available on both frame colors. Pick the sling first, then the frame powder coat.

Materials and Construction
Frame. Marine grade aluminum, powder coated. Aluminum does not rust, so the frame does not depend on a coating staying perfect to survive. The powder coat is baked on rather than sprayed, which is why it resists chipping at the joints where outdoor furniture usually fails first.
Sling. The seat and back are a single span of sling fabric stretched over the frame. Sling drains through rather than absorbing, which is why it is the standard material for poolside furniture and why nothing on this chaise has to be carried indoors.

Care and Maintenance
Sling. Hose it down and let it dry. Sling fabric drains and dries on its own and does not need to be brought inside. For stubborn marks, mild soap and a soft brush.
Powder coated aluminum. Wash with mild soap and water. Avoid abrasive pads and solvent cleaners, which dull the finish. Touch up any deep scratch promptly so salt and grit have nothing to work at.
Off season. The frame can stay outside all year.

Frequently Asked Questions
Why no arms?
So you can get on and off from either side. On a chaise set along a pool edge or in a row on a deck, arms are what you have to climb over. The trade is that there is nowhere to rest a forearm when you sit up.
How much deck space does one need?
Allow about seven and a half feet by three. The chaise is 80.5 inches long and 28.5 inches wide, and you want a clear foot to at least one side to get in and out of it easily.
Does the sling need to come inside?
No. Sling fabric drains and dries on its own, which is why it is the standard poolside material. Hose it down when it needs it and leave it where it is.
Does the sling or frame color change anything else?
No. Every sling color is available on either frame color, and the chaise is otherwise identical.
Which frame color should I pick?
