Eiland Collection
Eiland Aluminum Bar Stool
A bar height stool in all aluminum, with a 30.5 inch seat and a footrail, built for the 41 inch Eiland bar table. Nothing on it is fabric, cord or cushion, which is the point of the aluminum configuration.
- A 30.5 inch seat for a 41 inch bar. That leaves 10.5 inches between seat and top, which is the clearance that lets you sit square at the Eiland 36 inch bar table rather than perched sideways.
- Pierced aluminum seat and back. Water runs through it and there is nothing on the stool to fade, stain or bring indoors when the season ends.
- 13 pounds with a back. Light enough to reposition around a bar, heavy enough that it is not a nuisance in wind once it has someone on it.
- Carbon powder coat. The finish the Eiland bar and counter tables are built in.

Materials and Construction
Frame. Marine grade aluminum, powder coated. Aluminum does not rust, so the frame does not depend on a coating staying perfect to survive. The powder coat is baked on rather than sprayed, which is why it resists chipping at the joints where outdoor furniture usually fails first.

Powder coated aluminum. Wash with mild soap and water. Avoid abrasive pads and solvent cleaners, which dull the finish. Touch up any deep scratch promptly so salt and grit have nothing to work at.
Off season. The frame can stay outside all year.

Frequently Asked Questions
Which table does this stool suit?
The Eiland 36 inch square bar table at 41 inches. The seat is 30.5 inches, giving 10.5 inches of clearance, which is the standard gap for bar height seating. It is too tall for the 34 inch counter table.
How is it different from the Eiland Bar Stool?
This one is pierced aluminum throughout. The Eiland Bar Stool has a Mocha cord seat and back, is half an inch deeper, a quarter inch lower overall and two pounds lighter. Both sit at 30.5 inches.
Is there a footrest?
Yes. The stool is drawn as a bar height stool with a footrail, which at a 30.5 inch seat is what keeps it comfortable for any length of time.
Will the frame rust?
No. Eiland frames are marine grade aluminum, which does not rust, so the piece does not depend on the coating staying perfect to survive. The powder coat is baked on rather than sprayed, which is why it holds at the joints where outdoor furniture usually fails first.
What color is the frame?
Carbon, a deep charcoal powder coat. It is the finish the Eiland aluminum, cord and table pieces are built in, so the dining, bar and lounge pieces line up with each other across the collection.
Does the metal seat get hot?
In direct sun aluminum warms like any metal. The seat is pierced rather than solid, so air moves through it and it sheds heat faster than a closed panel would.
How many fit at a 36 inch bar table?
Three comfortably, four if the table is free standing and nobody minds elbows. The stool is 20.25 inches wide and the table is 36 inches square.
How is it delivered?
On a palletized freight shipment to the curb with lift gate service. The carton is 26 by 21 by 44 inches, which is past what a parcel carrier will take.
