Eiland 45" Square Counter Table
A 45 inch square counter height table at 34 inches, with a two inch umbrella hole. It is the middle height in the Eiland range, between the 29.75 inch dining tables and the 41 inch bar table, and it pairs with the 23 inch Eiland counter stools.
- 34 inches, counter height. Eleven inches above the 23 inch Eiland counter stool seat. It also lines up with an outdoor kitchen run, which is where counter height tables usually earn their keep.
- 45 inches square with an umbrella hole. Two inches, 50mm, for a standard market pole. Standard on the aluminum top, optional with a plug on the high pressure laminate tops.
- Ships in two boxes. The top and the frame travel separately, 48 by 47 by 5 inches and 36 by 9 by 3 inches, which is why the assembled table is easier to get through a gate than its footprint suggests.
- Aluminum top or four HPL colors. Marshland Oak, Enigma, Skyline and Starlight, or the base aluminum top in the frame's own Carbon coat.

Table Top Options
This table comes with an all aluminum top or one of four high pressure laminate tops. The aluminum top is the base configuration, in the same Carbon powder coat as the frame. The four HPL options are the same table with a laminate top fitted.

Materials and Construction
Frame. Marine grade aluminum, powder coated. Aluminum does not rust, so the frame does not depend on a coating staying perfect to survive. The powder coat is baked on rather than sprayed, which is why it resists chipping at the joints where outdoor furniture usually fails first.
Aluminum top. The base configuration is an all aluminum top in the same powder coat as the frame. It is the lightest of the tops and there is nothing on it but the coating.
HPL top. High pressure laminate is layers of paper and resin fused under heat and pressure into one dense sheet. It is non porous, so a wet glass leaves nothing behind, and it holds its color in direct sun. Eiland offers it in Marshland Oak, Enigma, Skyline and Starlight.

Care and Maintenance
Tops. Wipe with mild soap and water. Neither the aluminum nor the high pressure laminate is porous, so neither needs sealing or oiling and neither will take a water ring. Avoid abrasive pads.
Powder coated aluminum. Wash with mild soap and water. Avoid abrasive pads and solvent cleaners, which dull the finish. Touch up any deep scratch promptly so salt and grit have nothing to work at.
Off season. The frame can stay outside all year.

Frequently Asked Questions
Which stools go with it?
The Eiland Counter Stool or the Eiland Aluminum Counter Stool, both at a 23 inch seat, which leaves eleven inches under a 34 inch top. Bar stools at 30.5 inches are far too tall for this table.
Is the laminate version a different table?
No. The aluminum and laminate versions have identical assembled dimensions, 45 by 45 by 34 inches. It is one table with a choice of top.
Why two boxes?
The top ships flat in one carton and the frame in a second, long narrow one. It also means two smaller pieces to carry from the curb rather than one 45 inch square.
What is HPL?
High pressure laminate. Layers of paper and resin are fused under heat and pressure into a single dense sheet. Outdoors it stays flat, does not silver the way timber does and takes a hot mug or a wet glass without marking. Eiland offers four colors of it.
Will the frame rust?
No. Eiland frames are marine grade aluminum, which does not rust, so the piece does not depend on the coating staying perfect to survive. The powder coat is baked on rather than sprayed, which is why it holds at the joints where outdoor furniture usually fails first.
What color is the frame?
