Eiland Collection
Eiland 36" Square Bar Table
A 36 inch square bar table at 41 inches, drawn for the Eiland bar stools and their 30.5 inch seats. It is the table that turns a corner of a deck into a standing bar without taking floor space from anything else.
- 41 inches, true bar height. Ten and a half inches above the 30.5 inch Eiland bar stool seat, which is the clearance bar seating is designed around.
- 36 inches square for three or four stools. Stools are 20.25 inches wide, so three sit around it comfortably and a fourth fits if the table stands clear of a wall.
- Aluminum top or four HPL colors. The aluminum top is the base configuration. Marshland Oak, Enigma, Skyline and Starlight are high pressure laminate, which will not ring or stain.
- 42 pounds on a bar height frame. Weight low in the base is what keeps a tall table from feeling tippy when someone leans on the edge.

Materials and Construction
Frame. Marine grade aluminum, powder coated. Aluminum does not rust, so the frame does not depend on a coating staying perfect to survive. The powder coat is baked on rather than sprayed, which is why it resists chipping at the joints where outdoor furniture usually fails first.
Aluminum top. The base configuration is an all aluminum top in the same powder coat as the frame. It is the lightest of the tops and there is nothing on it but the coating.
HPL top. High pressure laminate is layers of paper and resin fused under heat and pressure into one dense sheet. It is non porous, so a wet glass leaves nothing behind, and it holds its color in direct sun. Eiland offers it in Marshland Oak, Enigma, Skyline and Starlight.
What Is Included
- One Eiland 36 inch square bar table, aluminum frame and legs in Carbon powder coat
- The top in the configuration you choose: aluminum, or high pressure laminate in Marshland Oak, Enigma, Skyline or Starlight

Care and Maintenance
Tops. Wipe with mild soap and water. Neither the aluminum nor the high pressure laminate is porous, so neither needs sealing or oiling and neither will take a water ring. Avoid abrasive pads.
Powder coated aluminum. Wash with mild soap and water. Avoid abrasive pads and solvent cleaners, which dull the finish. Touch up any deep scratch promptly so salt and grit have nothing to work at.
Off season. The frame can stay outside all year.

Frequently Asked Questions
Which stools go with it?
The Eiland Bar Stool or the Eiland Aluminum Bar Stool, both at a 30.5 inch seat. That gives 10.5 inches of clearance under a 41 inch top. Counter stools at 23 inches are too low for this table.
What is the base configuration?
The aluminum top, code ED36BR. The four high pressure laminate tops are the same table and frame with a laminate top fitted.
How many stools fit?
Three comfortably. A fourth works if the table is free standing rather than pushed against a rail, since each stool is 20.25 inches wide against a 36 inch side.
What is HPL?
High pressure laminate. Layers of paper and resin are fused under heat and pressure into a single dense sheet. Outdoors it stays flat, does not silver the way timber does and takes a hot mug or a wet glass without marking. Eiland offers four colors of it.
Will the frame rust?
No. Eiland frames are marine grade aluminum, which does not rust, so the piece does not depend on the coating staying perfect to survive. The powder coat is baked on rather than sprayed, which is why it holds at the joints where outdoor furniture usually fails first.
What color is the frame?
Carbon, Oxford Garden powder coat code PC.C. Carbon is the finish the Eiland aluminum, cord and table pieces are built in, so the dining, bar and lounge pieces line up with each other across the collection.
Is it stable at that height?
The frame carries 42 pounds low in the legs and the top is a full 36 inches square, which is a wide footprint for a bar table. It is drawn as a fixed height table, not a folding one.
How is it delivered?
By LTL freight to the curb with lift gate service, in a carton 38 by 38 by 7 inches at 47 to 53 pounds depending on the top.
