Materials and Construction
Frame. Marine grade aluminum, powder coated. Aluminum does not rust, so the frame does not depend on a coating staying perfect to survive. The powder coat is baked on rather than sprayed, which is why it resists chipping at the joints where outdoor furniture usually fails first.

Sling Fabric and Frame Color
Oxford Garden prints this chaise as COL-S_-PC_. The two blanks are the parts you choose: S is the sling fabric and PC is the powder coat on the frame. Page 11 of the 2026 price list carries one price and it does not move with either choice.

Care and Maintenance
Sling. Hose it down and let it dry. Sling fabric drains and dries on its own and does not need to be brought inside. For stubborn marks, mild soap and a soft brush.
Powder coated aluminum. Wash with mild soap and water. Avoid abrasive pads and solvent cleaners, which dull the finish. Touch up any deep scratch promptly so salt and grit have nothing to work at.
Off season. The frame can stay outside all year.

How is it different from the Agen chaise?
Costille is the wide, plain sling chaise: 33 inches across and 82.25 inches long. Agen is the long, padded sling one: 27.25 inches across and 93.25 inches long. Choose Costille for room to move, Agen for length and softness.
Is a plain sling comfortable without a cushion?
Sling is tensioned fabric, so it gives under you the way a hammock does rather than compressing like foam. Most people find it comfortable for an afternoon. If you want padding underneath, the padded sling Agen chaise is the alternative.
How much deck space does one need?
About seven feet by four, including room to walk past. The chaise itself is 82.25 by 33 inches, and its width is the dimension people underestimate when placing a pair.
Can it stay out by the pool all season?
Yes, that is what it is built for. Sling drains and dries and the aluminum frame does not rust. Rinse chlorine or salt off with fresh water occasionally.
Do I choose the fabric and frame color?
