Classic Side Chair Cushion
The seat cushion for Oxford Garden's Classic Side Chair in teak. Nineteen and a half inches wide, 19 deep, 2.5 thick. It is the armless chair's pad, and it is not the same part as the armchair cushion.
- Fits the Classic Side Chair. Cut for the Classic Side Chair, 19.5 inches wide, three inches narrower than the Classic armchair cushion, because the side chair seat is narrower.
- Nineteen and a half inches wide. Sized to sit inside the side chair seat. The armchair cushion at 22.5 inches will overhang and lift at the corners on this frame.
- Two and a half inches thick. The same thickness as the rest of the Classic pads, so a table of mixed armchairs and side chairs still sits level.
- Fabric changes, padding does not. The measurements and the build are the same whichever Sunbrella fabric you choose.

Cushions. Solution dyed acrylic. The color goes into the fiber before it is spun rather than being printed onto finished cloth, which is why these fabrics hold color in direct sun far longer than a conventional outdoor print.

Cushions. Brush off loose dirt, sponge with mild soap and lukewarm water, rinse thoroughly and air dry. Do not machine dry. Bring cushions in or cover them when the piece is not in use for long stretches.
Storage. Cushions last longer stored dry. Bring them in or cover them when the piece is not in use for weeks at a time, and stand them on edge rather than stacking them wet.
Covers. Clean the cushion in place with mild soap and water.

How do I clean it?
Brush off loose dirt, sponge with mild soap and lukewarm water, rinse it thoroughly and let it air dry. Do not machine dry it. Rinsing matters more than scrubbing: soap left in the fabric pulls dirt back into it faster than the dirt you just removed.
Can I leave it outside all season?
It is built for outdoor use, but a cushion that lives through every storm will not last as long as one that is covered or brought in. Store it dry and on edge when the piece is out of use for weeks at a time.
