Argento Sofa
Six and a quarter feet of woven Argento, three seats across, on the same 18 inch seat and 28 inch depth as the rest of the lounge group. It is the piece that sets the scale of a terrace, and at 43 lb it is a good deal lighter than a teak sofa of the same size.
- 75.5 inches, three seats. A full size outdoor sofa rather than a stretched loveseat, and still under six and a half feet so it fits most deck runs.
- Consistent with the rest of Argento. 18 inch seat, 28 inch depth, 32.5 inch back. Put it opposite two club chairs and everyone sits at the same height.
- 43 lb. Light enough for two people to place without dragging it across a stone terrace, which is where heavy frames chip the surface.
- Cushions included, four grades. Bliss Linen in Grade 2A, solution dyed polyester in Grade 3A, or the Grade A and Grade B Sunbrella books made to order.

Materials and Construction
Frame. Marine grade aluminum, powder coated. Aluminum does not rust, so the frame does not depend on a coating staying perfect to survive. The powder coat is baked on rather than sprayed, which is why it resists chipping at the joints where outdoor furniture usually fails first.
Weave. Argento resin wicker, weave code W.R, woven over the aluminum frame. The color runs through the strand rather than sitting on the surface, so a scuff does not expose a pale core. Argento is the only Oxford Garden collection that takes this weave.
Cushions. Solution dyed acrylic. The color goes into the fiber before it is spun rather than being printed onto finished cloth, which is why these fabrics hold color in direct sun far longer than a conventional outdoor print.

This piece ships by LTL freight, not by parcel carrier, at 71 lb.

Care and Maintenance
Cushions. Brush off loose dirt, sponge with mild soap and lukewarm water, rinse thoroughly and air dry. Do not machine dry. Bring cushions in or cover them when the piece is not in use for long stretches.
Resin wicker. Rinse with a hose and wipe the weave down with mild soap and water. A soft brush gets grit out of the crossings. Skip solvents and abrasive pads, and do not pressure wash the weave.
Powder coated aluminum. Wash with mild soap and water. Avoid abrasive pads and solvent cleaners, which dull the finish. Touch up any deep scratch promptly so salt and grit have nothing to work at.
Off season. The frame can stay outside all year.

Does the price include the cushions?
Yes. The sofa is sold complete with cushions and the grade you choose sets which fabric book they come from. Oxford Garden prices one line per grade, which is what you are selecting above.
What is the difference between the cushion grades?
They are fabric price tiers, not different cushions. Construction and dimensions are identical. Grade 2A is Bliss Linen, the Sunbrella acrylic Oxford Garden stocks for Argento. Grade 3A is solution dyed polyester in five colors. Grades A and B open the wider Sunbrella books and are made to order.
How many people does it seat?
Three. At 75.5 inches wide with an 18 inch seat height and 28 inches of depth it is a full size outdoor sofa, and it is designed to face a pair of Argento club chairs across a low table.
Will it get to my back yard?
The carton is 77 by 32 by 26 inches at 71 lb, and it comes on a pallet to the curb. Check gates, stairs and corners along the route first, because moving it past the curb is not part of the delivery.
What is Argento wicker?
It is Oxford Garden's resin wicker in weave code W.R, a silvered gray strand woven over a powder coated aluminum frame. Oxford Garden restricts this weave to the Argento collection, so nothing else in the catalog comes in it. The color is in the strand, not painted on.
Can it stay outside through the season?
Yes. The frame is powder coated aluminum, which does not rust, and the weave is resin rather than natural cane, so damp does not rot it. Fabric lasts longer if you bring cushions in or cover them when the piece is not being used for a stretch.
Does it come apart for delivery?
Oxford Garden ships it as one piece. There is no modular split in the Argento sofa, so plan the route for a 75.5 inch object rather than two smaller ones.
How is it delivered?
By LTL freight, curbside, with lift gate service. You will be contacted to arrange a delivery window. Inspect the shipment and note any damage on the receipt before you sign.
