Argento Collection
Argento Club Chair
The lounge chair in the Argento collection: 27 inches wide, 28 inches deep, with a woven back and sides and an 18 inch seat. It is a genuine lounge seat that still sits high enough to get out of easily, which is not always true of deep outdoor chairs.
- 18 inch seat on a lounge frame. Deep enough at 28 inches to sit back into, high enough at 18 inches that getting up does not take a push off the arms.
- Woven on three sides. Argento weave wraps the back and both arms over a powder coated aluminum frame, so the chair looks finished from every angle in a floating group.
- Cushions included, three fabrics. Bliss Linen, solution dyed polyester, or any other Sunbrella fabric made to order. Same cushion in all three.
- 18.5 lb. Light for its size, which is what makes a pair of these easy to turn toward a fire pit and back again.

Own fabric orders are quoted by phone, because the cost depends on the material, the yardage and the run. We will confirm the quote with Oxford Garden before anything is ordered.
Materials and Construction
Frame. Marine grade aluminum, powder coated. Aluminum does not rust, so the frame does not depend on a coating staying perfect to survive. The powder coat is baked on rather than sprayed, which is why it resists chipping at the joints where outdoor furniture usually fails first.
Weave. Argento resin wicker, woven over the aluminum frame. The color runs through the strand rather than sitting on the surface, so a scuff does not expose a pale core. Argento is the only Oxford Garden collection that takes this weave.
Cushions. Solution dyed acrylic. The color goes into the fiber before it is spun rather than being printed onto finished cloth, which is why these fabrics hold color in direct sun far longer than a conventional outdoor print.
What Is Included
- One Argento Club Chair, powder coated aluminum frame with Argento resin wicker
- Seat and back cushions in the fabric you select

Care and Maintenance
Cushions. Brush off loose dirt, sponge with mild soap and lukewarm water, rinse thoroughly and air dry. Do not machine dry. Bring cushions in or cover them when the piece is not in use for long stretches.
Resin wicker. Rinse with a hose and wipe the weave down with mild soap and water. A soft brush gets grit out of the crossings. Skip solvents and abrasive pads, and do not pressure wash the weave.
Powder coated aluminum. Wash with mild soap and water. Avoid abrasive pads and solvent cleaners, which dull the finish. Touch up any deep scratch promptly so salt and grit have nothing to work at.
Off season. The frame can stay outside all year.

Frequently Asked Questions
Are the cushions included?
Yes. The club chair is sold complete with its cushions, in the fabric you choose.
What is the difference between the cushion fabrics?
Only the cloth. Construction and dimensions are identical. Bliss Linen is the Sunbrella acrylic Oxford Garden stocks for Argento. The solution dyed polyester comes in five colors. Any other Sunbrella fabric is made to order.
Can I choose any Sunbrella fabric?
Yes. Tell us the Sunbrella fabric you want and we will confirm it with Oxford Garden before the order goes in.
Do people buy these in pairs?
Usually two, facing the Argento loveseat or sofa across a low table. Oxford Garden cartons them singly or two to a box, so a pair is one carton and a single chair is a normal order either way.
How much floor space does a pair need?
Each chair is 27 inches wide and 28 inches deep. Two side by side with a small gap take about five feet of wall, and you want roughly 18 inches between the chair front and a coffee table for legs.
What is Argento wicker?
It is Oxford Garden's silvered gray resin wicker, woven over a powder coated aluminum frame. Oxford Garden restricts this weave to the Argento collection, so nothing else in the catalog comes in it. The color is in the strand, not painted on.
Can it stay outside through the season?
Yes. The frame is powder coated aluminum, which does not rust, and the weave is resin rather than natural cane, so damp does not rot it. Fabric lasts longer if you bring cushions in or cover them when the piece is not being used for a stretch.
Does it sit at the same height as the loveseat and sofa?
Yes, 18 inches across all three. That is what lets you mix a sofa, a loveseat and a pair of club chairs in one group without anyone sitting noticeably low.
How is it delivered?
By LTL freight to the curb with lift gate service. The carton is 38 by 35 by 35 inches, well past parcel size. You will be contacted to arrange the delivery.
