Argento Armless Chaise Lounge
An armless poolside chaise, 76 inches long with a 15 inch seat and an adjustable back that stands to 39 inches. The deck is composite sling rather than a cushion, so it drains and dries where it lies. You choose the side rail material: Argento weave, or Tekwood in Natural or Vintage.
- Sling deck, not a cushion. Composite sling is tensioned across the frame. It sheds water, dries in the sun and does not need to be carried inside before a storm.
- Armless, so they line up. 26.25 inches wide with nothing sticking out at the sides, which is what lets you set three or four in a row along a pool edge without wasted space between them.
- Three side rail finishes. Argento resin wicker, Tekwood Natural or Tekwood Vintage. The Tekwood rails put a wood tone into an otherwise woven piece.
- 15 inch seat, 76 inch length. Low and long, the proportions of a pool chaise rather than a garden recliner, on a powder coated aluminum frame at 26 lb.

The frame, the sling deck and the dimensions are the same on all three. What you are choosing is the material of the two side rails that run the length of the chaise.

Materials and Construction
Frame. Marine grade aluminum, powder coated. Aluminum does not rust, so the frame does not depend on a coating staying perfect to survive. The powder coat is baked on rather than sprayed, which is why it resists chipping at the joints where outdoor furniture usually fails first.
Weave. Argento resin wicker, woven over the aluminum frame. The color runs through the strand rather than sitting on the surface, so a scuff does not expose a pale core. Argento is the only Oxford Garden collection that takes this weave.

Care and Maintenance
Sling. Hose it down and let it dry. Sling fabric drains and dries on its own and does not need to be brought inside. For stubborn marks, mild soap and a soft brush.
Resin wicker. Rinse with a hose and wipe the weave down with mild soap and water. A soft brush gets grit out of the crossings. Skip solvents and abrasive pads, and do not pressure wash the weave.
Powder coated aluminum. Wash with mild soap and water. Avoid abrasive pads and solvent cleaners, which dull the finish. Touch up any deep scratch promptly so salt and grit have nothing to work at.
Off season. The frame can stay outside all year.

What color is the sling?

Why is it armless?
So chaises sit flush beside each other. At 26.25 inches wide with no arm to clear, a run of four takes about nine feet of pool edge instead of twelve, and a side table drops in between any two of them.
Does the back adjust?
Yes. The chaise measures 39 inches at its tallest with the back raised and lies down to a flat deck, which is where the 15 inch seat height is measured.
Why does it ship two or four at a time?
Oxford Garden cartons this chaise in multiples of two or four only. A carton of two is 78 lb; a carton of four is 130 lb.
What is Tekwood?
Oxford Garden's wood toned composite, offered here in Natural and Vintage. On this chaise it is used for the two side rails. It does not need oiling or sealing the way real timber does.
What is Argento wicker?
It is Oxford Garden's silvered gray resin wicker, woven over a powder coated aluminum frame. Oxford Garden restricts this weave to the Argento collection, so nothing else in the catalog comes in it. The color is in the strand, not painted on.
Can it stay out all season?
Yes. Powder coated aluminum does not rust, the weave is resin rather than cane, and composite sling drains and dries on its own. Hose the sling down and let it dry rather than bringing it in.
How is it delivered?
By LTL freight to the curb with lift gate service. The carton is 90 by 34 by 40 inches, so plan the route from the curb to the pool before delivery day.
