Agen Chaise Lounge in Padded Sling and Aluminum
A padded sling chaise on a powder coated aluminum frame, 93.25 inches from head to foot and only 30 pounds. Agen is the poolside lounger built to be moved around a deck all summer and left out in the weather between uses.
- 93.25 inches of lounger. Nearly eight feet nose to tail, which is what you want for lying fully out rather than sitting reclined with your feet over an edge.
- Padded sling, so nothing has to come indoors. The padding is built between the faces of the sling rather than sitting on top as a cushion. There is no pad to carry in when it rains and none to blow into the pool.
- 30 pounds. One person repositions it through the day to follow the sun. A teak chaise of the same length runs closer to 55 pounds.
- A 15.5 inch seat on an aluminum frame. Low and close to the deck, on a frame that has nothing in it to rust at a chlorinated or salt water pool.

Materials and Construction
Frame. Marine grade aluminum, powder coated. Aluminum does not rust, so the frame does not depend on a coating staying perfect to survive. The powder coat is baked on rather than sprayed, which is why it resists chipping at the joints where outdoor furniture usually fails first.

Sling Fabric and Frame Color
Oxford Garden prints this chaise as AGL-PS_-PC_. The two blanks are the parts you choose: PS is the padded sling fabric and PC is the powder coat on the frame. Page 4 of the 2026 price list carries one price and it does not move with either choice.

Care and Maintenance
Padded sling. Hose it down and let it dry. A padded sling carries a layer of foam between two faces of sling fabric, so it sheds surface water but takes longer to dry right through than a plain sling. After heavy rain, raise the back so air moves across both faces. For marks, mild soap and a soft brush.
Powder coated aluminum. Wash with mild soap and water. Avoid abrasive pads and solvent cleaners, which dull the finish. Touch up any deep scratch promptly so salt and grit have nothing to work at.
Off season. The frame can stay outside all year.

Frequently Asked Questions
How much deck space does one need?
Allow about eight feet by three. The chaise is 93.25 inches long and 27.25 inches wide, and you want a clear foot on at least one side to get on and off it comfortably.
How is it different from the Costille chaise?
Agen is a padded sling and 93.25 inches long on a 27.25 inch wide frame. Costille is a plain sling, shorter at 82.25 inches and wider at 33 inches. Agen is the longer, softer one; Costille is the broader, more open one.
Does the padding stay out in the rain?
Yes. The foam is enclosed between the two faces of the sling rather than being a loose cushion, so there is nothing to bring in. Give it air after heavy rain so it dries through.
Is it safe beside a chlorinated pool?
The frame is powder coated aluminum, which does not rust, and sling is the standard fabric for poolside because it drains. Rinse chlorine and salt off with fresh water now and then.
Does it have wheels?
Oxford Garden does not print a wheel specification for the Agen chaise on page 4 of the 2026 price list, so we will not claim one. At 30 pounds it is light enough to lift and carry either way.
Do I choose the fabric and frame color?
Yes. The item code AGL-PS_-PC_ has a blank for the padded sling fabric and one for the powder coat. The price is the same whichever you choose, and both are confirmed before ordering.
How is it delivered?
By LTL freight to the curb with lift gate service. The carton is 91 by 35 by 41 inches at 50 pounds, so the size rather than the weight is what puts it on a truck.
