Eighty inches square on a powder coated aluminum pole, the largest square canopy Oxford Garden prints. The extra eight inches a side over the 6 foot square is the difference between shading four chairs and shading four chairs plus the people leaning back in them.
- An 80 by 80 inch canopy. Square in shape and 100 inches to the top of the finial.
- Vented at the crown. Hot air rises out through the vent and gusts pass through it instead of pushing the canopy up. It is the detail that separates a market umbrella from a beach umbrella.
- Sunbrella canopy, two fabric grades. Solution dyed acrylic in your choice of the Grade A or Grade B Sunbrella range. The canopy is the same size and build either way.
- Eighty inches on a side. Eight more inches per side than the 6 foot square, which is most of a seat's worth of extra cover at each corner.

The 6.5 foot Aluminum Square Market Umbrella is the biggest square in the range: an 80 inch vented Sunbrella canopy on a powder coated aluminum pole 1.5 inches in diameter. It is the square canopy to choose when the umbrella has to work for a full table rather than a cafe table.

Canopy Fabric Options
Oxford Garden prices these umbrellas by canopy fabric grade. The frame, the pole, the vent and the canopy size are identical on both lines. What changes is which Sunbrella fabric book you are choosing from, and that is what moves the price.

Materials and Construction
Frame. Aluminum, powder coated, with a pole 1.5" (38mm) in diameter. Aluminum does not rust, so the frame does not depend on a coating staying perfect to survive, and it keeps the umbrella light enough to carry one handed.
Canopy. Sunbrella, a 100 percent solution dyed acrylic. The color goes into the fiber before it is spun rather than being printed onto finished cloth, which is why it holds its tone in direct sun.
Vent. The canopy is vented at the crown so hot air and gusts pass through the top instead of pushing against it.
Finial. A finial finishes the top of the pole. The shade lifts off the frame for cleaning or replacement.

Care and Maintenance
Canopy. Brush off loose dirt, sponge with mild soap and lukewarm water, rinse thoroughly and let it air dry open. Do not machine dry. Put the canopy away dry, never damp.
In wind. Close the umbrella when you are not sitting under it. An open canopy is a sail, and wind is what ends most umbrellas.

Frequently Asked Questions
Will this cover a four seat square dining table?
It is the right umbrella for one. The canopy runs 80 by 80 inches and stands 100 inches tall, so a 36 to 42 inch square table with four chairs pulled in sits inside the shade line through the middle of the day.
Is an umbrella stand included?
No. The umbrella is sold on its own. Oxford Garden lists the Market Umbrella Stand -40 lb., the Market Umbrella Stand -70 lb. and the Market Umbrella Table Clamp separately, and which one you need depends on your pole diameter and whether the umbrella goes through a table.
What is the difference between Grade A and Grade B?
They are fabric price tiers, not different umbrellas. The frame, the pole, the vent and the canopy dimensions are identical on both lines. Grade B opens up a wider Sunbrella range than Grade A, and that is the whole of the difference.
Can I leave it outside?
Leave the frame out through the season if you like, but close the canopy whenever you are not sitting under it. Wind on an open canopy is what ends most umbrellas. Over the winter, take the shade off the frame and store it dry.
Can the canopy be replaced without buying a new umbrella?
The shade lifts off the frame, which is how Oxford Garden intends it to be cleaned. If you need a replacement canopy, call us with the item code and the fabric and we will price it with Oxford Garden.
How do I clean the canopy?
Brush off the loose dirt first, then sponge it with mild soap and lukewarm water, rinse it thoroughly and let it dry open. Solution dyed acrylic takes soap and water well. Do not put it in a dryer.
How is this delivered?
By LTL freight to the curb with lift gate service. The carton is 100" L x 8" W x 8" H, which is past what a parcel carrier will accept, so it moves on a pallet and you will be contacted to arrange the delivery.
What else does Oxford Garden make in shade?
