Questions people ask us
What do I need to order with the Gusto?
Osburn lists decorative faceplate trims in black or brushed nickel as required, sold separately in the trims and fronts collection. The stove comes with a removable ash lip, a cooking grid and handles.
Does the Gusto come with a blower?
No. A 130 CFM blower with variable speed control is an option, sold separately in the blowers collection.
Can I cook right on the top?
The top is cast iron, but its paint is not food grade, so Osburn advises using cast iron or aluminum cookware rather than cooking directly on the surface. Surface heat varies across the top.
How hot does the oven get?
The oven door thermometer reads 150 to 750 F. Osburn notes the reading is a reference and that heat varies by about 50 F inside the oven, coolest at the front left.
Can it go in a mobile home?
Yes, with the fresh air intake kit, a double wall connector and the conditions in the manual. It is not approved for alcove installs. Ask us if you want us to check your space.
