The Osburn AC02082 is a 32" x 44" cuttable faceplate, 18 gauge, for the Matrix 1900 wood insert. Osburn offers it for fireplace openings that are bigger than the insert's cast iron faceplate. Cut it to size and either bolt it to the insert faceplate or clamp it between the insert and the hearth.

How does it install?
Method 1: lift off the insert front, cut the faceplate to size, bolt it to the insert faceplate, then hook it back on. Method 2: pull the insert forward, slide the faceplate behind the insert's steel faceplate and push the insert back so the faceplate is clamped against the hearth, centered on the insert.
Does it fit the Matrix 2700?
No. The Matrix 2700 uses the AC01277 34" x 50" cuttable faceplate.
Is there a matching door overlay?
Osburn makes door overlays for the Matrix 1900, including the OA10042 brushed nickel overlay.
