Will it fit another Osburn stove?
Osburn lists the AC02023 for the 950 wood stove only. The 1700 and Gusto use the AC01000, and the Inspire 2000 uses the AC03095.
What does the thermodisc do?
It senses the stove temperature and lets the blower run only when the stove is hot enough, then shuts it off as the stove cools.
Can I replace just the motor later?
Yes. Osburn sells the 950 blower motor (part 44073) and thermodisc (part 44028) separately as replacement parts. Ask us for either one.
