The Osburn AC01291 is the 5" fresh air intake kit for the 1700 wood stove on legs. It feeds outside combustion air to the stove through a housing under the firebox and a grille on the outside wall. The 1700 manual requires a fresh air intake kit when the stove goes into a mobile home.

Do I need it?
It is optional in most homes. The 1700 manual says a mobile home installation requires a fresh air intake kit and insulated pipe.
What else do I need?
A 5" insulated HVAC flexible duct rated ULC S110 or UL 181 class 0 or 1, such as the AC02090, and four screws for the grille.
My 1700 is on a pedestal. Which kit?
Use the AC01336 kit for stoves on pedestal.
