View full details

The Osburn AC01000 is a 130 CFM blower with variable speed control and a thermodisc, made to bolt onto the back of an Osburn wood stove. It pushes air across the hot stove body so more of the heat moves out into the room. Osburn lists it as the optional blower for the 1700 wood stove and the Gusto wood cookstove.

Questions people ask us

Which Osburn stoves does it fit?

Osburn lists the AC01000 for the 1700 wood stove and the Gusto wood cookstove. For any other stove, send us your Osburn model and serial number through our contact page and we will confirm the part before you order.

How does it install?

Osburn's instructions have you cut the small tabs holding the knockout panel on the back of the stove, remove the panel, and fasten the blower to the back of the stove with 4 screws. Unplug the blower while you work.

What does the thermodisc do?

It lets the blower run only when the stove is hot enough, so the fan is not blowing cool air while the fire is starting or dying down.

Do I need an electrician?

No wiring is involved in the Osburn instructions. The blower plugs into a standard household outlet. Route the cord so it never touches the stove or runs beneath it.
