The Osburn 2500 (OP00025) is a top-feed pellet stove with a traditional wood stove look, rated for 500 to 2,000 sq ft with a maximum heat input of 39,260 BTU/h. Its 60 lb hopper gives up to 51 hours of burn time, it lights with an electronic igniter and runs on simple electronic and thermostatic controls. It is approved for alcove and mobile home installation, and we are offering it while supplies last.

Electric ignition, no power-outage backup.Plug the 2500 into a grounded 120 V outlet with no adapter or extension cord. It does not run during a power outage. A certified installer or your local building official should check the installation before the first fire.

What pellets does it burn?

Osburn calls for premium grade or better wood pellets, graded by an organization such as PFI, ENplus or CANplus.

How long does a full hopper last?

The hopper holds 60 lb, and Osburn rates the maximum burn time at 51 hours. A hopper extension is an option.

What vent does it need?

A 3" Type L pellet vent listed to UL 641, moving to 4" for basement installs or when the equivalent vent length passes 15 ft. Never exceed 30 ft of equivalent vent length. Venting parts are in the venting collection.

Is a thermostat included?

No. A wall thermostat is an option, sold separately; the stove takes a 24 V low voltage thermostat. See the accessories collection.
