Questions people ask us

What do I need to order with the 2000?

Osburn lists two required accessories, sold separately: a door overlay in black or brushed nickel, and either a pedestal or a set of cast iron legs with ash pan kit. The stove itself comes with its 130 CFM blower. Browse the trims and fronts and stove parts collections for the options.

How much area will it heat?

Osburn recommends the 2000 for 500 to 2,100 sq ft. Climate, layout and insulation all matter, so send us the details and we will talk it through.

What size logs does it take?

Logs up to 20" long, loaded across the width. Osburn recommends 16" dry cordwood.

Can it go in a mobile home or an alcove?

Yes, Osburn approves the 2000 for both, with the clearances and conditions in the manual. In a mobile home it must use a double wall connector, and single wall pipe is not allowed.

Is the 2000 right for your room?
