No. Osburn's instructions say the overlay goes on the door frame and is secured from behind, with the glass left in place.
Does it fit the 2000 series?
No. The 2000 wood stove and 2000-I use OA10237 and OA10238. The OA10249 and OA10250 are for the 1700 series.
