The Napoleon Wrought Iron Globe Kit is a set of naturally rusted iron globes that sit in the ember bed of a Napoleon linear gas fireplace. WIGM holds 3 globes and is listed for the Vector 38/50 and Luxuria 38/50. WIGL holds 6 globes and is listed for the Vector 62/74 and Luxuria 62/74. The globes are made to tarnish with use, so they age along with the fire.

Keep the pilot opening clear.Napoleon's instructions say to scatter the globes around the burner trough and pilot opening, not on top of them, and to keep globes off the glass door. Turn off the gas and power and let the fireplace cool completely first.

Which kit do I need?

Napoleon lists WIGM (3 globes) for the Vector 38/50 and Luxuria 38/50, and WIGL (6 globes) for the Vector 62/74 and Luxuria 62/74. Its Tall Linear Vector photos show WIGM in the 50 and WIGL in the 62 and 74.

Where do the globes go?

Remove the door and barrier, then scatter the globes around the burner trough and pilot opening. Napoleon says the globes can cross the burner where the flame is low, in the valleys, but not through a tall flame peak. Never cover the pilot opening and do not let a globe touch the glass.

Do I have to use every globe?

No. Napoleon says you do not have to install all of the supplied globes, and you can add more by ordering a second kit.

Can I paint or seal them?

No. The globes are designed to tarnish with use, and Napoleon does not recommend finishing or painting them.
