Questions people ask us
Which fireplace is the W175-0272 listed for?
It is listed for the Napoleon GSS42CF, which Napoleon's outdoor fireplace brochure calls the Riverside 42 Clean Face. Check your rating plate to be sure the model matches.
Does it work for the other direction, propane to natural gas?
No. This is a natural gas to propane kit. If your GSS42CF is set up for propane and needs natural gas, ask us and we will point you to the right part number.
Can I fit it myself?
We suggest a qualified gas professional. It is gas work on an outdoor appliance, and the connections need to be tested once the kit is in.
What if my fireplace is a different size?
The 36 inch Clean Face has its own conversion kit, so a size mismatch matters. Send us your rating plate model and we will confirm. Ask us here.
