The Napoleon RD3BK is the standard heat circulating blower kit for the Rosedale 3 (RD3) gas insert. It moves warm air from the insert into the room, with a variable speed switch and a thermal disc that turns the blower on as the insert heats up. Napoleon also offers a hybrid gas and electric blower for the RD3.

When does the blower come on?
A thermal disc turns it on once the insert reaches 120°F (49°C) and off when it drops below 100°F (38°C). The variable speed switch sets how fast it runs.
Does my Rosedale 3 already have a blower?
Some units may be fitted already. Send us the model and serial from the rating plate and we will check before you order.
Is there an electric heat option?
Napoleon offers a hybrid gas and electric blower for the RD3 as a separate kit. Ask us about it.
