A 50 inch wall-mount fireplace with glass on three sides. The Trivista Pictura 50 has an angled front glass and tinted side glass, so the flame is seen from the front and both ends. It hangs on a bracket, plugs into a 120 V outlet and has a heater, a color-changing ember bed and a remote.

Questions people ask us
Can I recess it into the wall?
Napoleon's manual describes a surface wall mount only. It hangs on the supplied bracket, which must have its hooks facing up and be level.
What power does it need?
A dedicated 15 amp grounded 120 V circuit. It ships with a standard plug. A qualified electrician can remove the cord connection and hardwire it. Napoleon does not permit extension cords.
Can I mount a TV above it?
Napoleon does not publish a safe TV height for this fireplace. Its manual warns that elevated temperatures on the wall or in the air above the appliance can damage a TV or other electronic components. Napoleon's manual gives 3 15/16″ from the top of the appliance to a mantel. Check your TV maker's guidance as well as the clearance chart in Napoleon's manual. If you want a second opinion on your wall, send us the dimensions.
How much heat does it put out?
The heater runs at up to 1,500 W on a 120 V circuit, with low and high settings, a blower-only setting and a thermostat from 64 to 82°F. The flame can run with the heat off.
What does three-sided mean?
The front glass is angled and the ends have tinted glass, so you see the flame from the front and from both sides. Napoleon says the angled front glass also helps project the heat into the room.
What is in the flame bed?
Crystal media comes with it: small crystals for the bed and large crystal accents. The flame has five brightness settings and five speeds, and the ember bed has a choice of colors and five brightness levels.
Where can I install it?
Indoors only. Napoleon's manual says not to use it outdoors and to choose a location that is not prone to moisture. Its rating plate lists it as suitable for bedroom and bed-sitting room installation. Napoleon's manual says this appliance is not suitable for installation in a bathroom.
