The Napoleon GSOHEM is the Prestige heat and exhaust management kit for the Galaxy series outdoor gas fireplaces. It installs in place of the vent opening covers on the Galaxy 50, 62 or 74 and connects to approved 6 inch B-vent, which lets you carry heat and exhaust away from the top of the unit. Napoleon's manual says it must be used with approved B-vent components.

Which fireplaces does it fit?
Napoleon lists GSOHEM for the Galaxy series, the GSS50, GSS62 and GSS74. The Riverside uses its own kit.
What venting do I need?
Approved 6 inch B-vent, installed to the vent maker's requirements and clearances. The Galaxy installation manual sets the allowed vent run.
Can I fit it to an installed Galaxy?
The instructions remove the vent opening covers on the top of the unit and secure the kit with the same screws. Make sure the unit is fully cool first.
