The Napoleon DHCL2 is the Dynamic Heat Control Linear kit for the Vector 62 and Vector 74 gas fireplaces. It moves heat away from the firebox and out of a vented enclosure so it circulates into the room, with no fans, ducts or manifolds. The kit holds deflectors, a high limit switch, a wire harness, a bracket and screws.

What does it do?
It uses airflow through the fireplace and a vented enclosure to move heat into the room, so framing and finishes can come closer and less heat builds above the opening. No fans or ducts are needed.
Which fireplaces does it fit?
DHCL2 is listed for the Vector 62 and Vector 74. Napoleon notes Dynamic Heat Control is already standard on Luxuria models.
Can I put a TV above it?
The manual allows electronics 6" below the air outlet and 6" above the finishing flange. Check the TV maker's heat limits as well.
