Questions people ask us
What does Dynamic Heat Control do?
It uses airflow through the fireplace and a vented enclosure to move heat into the room, so less heat builds up above the opening. Napoleon notes it needs no extra fans, ducts or manifolds.
Can I mount a TV above the fireplace?
The manual allows electronics and wall-mounted items 6" below the air outlet and 6" above the finishing flange. Check the TV maker's own heat limits too.
Does it fit the older Altitude X?
Napoleon's manual for this kit covers the AX36-2 and AX42-2. Send us your model if yours ends in -1.
Can I add it after the fireplace is finished?
Napoleon calls for it to be installed with the fireplace, before the venting and gas line, so plan it at framing.
