Napoleon Allure Vertical Wall Mount Electric Fireplace
A tall, slim flame for the narrow wall space a wide fireplace cannot use. The Allure Vertical 32 is an electric fireplace 16″ wide and 32″ tall. It hangs on a wall bracket, plugs into a dedicated outlet and heats with a built-in fan heater.
Wall mounted: the fireplace hangs on a bracket and plugs in. Where Napoleon allows recessing, the framing is covered in the table above.

Questions people ask us
Does it hang on the wall, or can I recess it?
Both. It hangs on the supplied bracket, and Napoleon's installation manual also shows a recessed install. Napoleon's quick-start guide covers wall mounting only, so use the full manual if you plan to recess it. If you wall mount it under a mantel, Napoleon asks for a 2″ gap above the unit so it can be lifted on and off the bracket hooks.
Can I mount a TV above it?
Napoleon's manual warns that elevated temperatures on the wall or in the air above the appliance can damage a TV or other electronic components. Napoleon's chart calls for a 2″ gap above the unit when it is wall mounted. Check your TV maker's guidance as well as the clearance chart in Napoleon's manual. If you want a second opinion on your wall, send us the dimensions.
How much heat does it put out?
It has a 1,500 W fan heater, listed at 5,000 BTU/hr on Napoleon's spec sheet. A built-in thermostat shuts the heater off once your set temperature is reached. Think of it as supplemental heat for the room around it. The flame has its own control, so you can run it with the heat off.
Does the glass get hot?
Yes. Napoleon warns that the glass stays hot for an extended period after the appliance is off, and that young children should be supervised in the same room. Keep that in mind for kids and pets.
How do I control it?
The included remote runs the power, flame colors and speed, ember bed color and brightness, heater, thermostat and timer. The unit also has a control panel on its right side.
What is in the flame bed?
Crystal embers. Napoleon includes birch logs with the 38 only, not the 32. The ember bed and side accent lights change color from the remote.
Where can I install it?
Indoors only. Napoleon's manual says not to use it outdoors and to choose a location that is not prone to moisture. Please check with us before planning a bathroom install.
