The Modern Flames Allwood Media Wall System in Driftwood Gray is a wood media wall built for the 60 inch Spectrum Slimline (SPS-60B) linear electric fireplace, which is sold separately. The complete system, AFWS-DW, is the full 10 foot wall: the 6 foot main wall (AFWS-MAIN-DW) with the fireplace opening and wood mantel, plus two 2 foot side walls (AFWS-SIDE-DW) with adjustable shelves. The main wall and a single side wall are also offered on their own. It installs on an existing permanent wall, which makes it a fit for condos and rentals as well as family rooms.

Secure the frames and cleats to studs.The installation guide calls for the top and bottom frames to be secured to at least two studs and each wall cleat to at least one stud, level. The hardware is meant for drywall over wood studs, so use anchors suited to other wall types.

Questions people ask us

What does each option include?

The complete system (AFWS-DW) is the full 10 foot wall: the 6 foot main wall plus two 2 foot side walls. The main wall (AFWS-MAIN-DW) is the 6 foot center unit with the fireplace opening and mantel. The side wall (AFWS-SIDE-DW) is one 2 foot shelf tower. None of the options include the fireplace.

Is the fireplace included?

No. The fireplace is sold separately. The wall is built for the Spectrum Slimline 60 (SPS-60B); ask us and we will quote it with the wall.

Can I mount a TV on it?

A TV is not included. Modern Flames notes the top front panel has no TV cutout and has to be modified for a TV, and the TV wiring should be set up before the fireplace goes in.

Does it come in other colors?

Modern Flames makes the Allwood wall in Driftwood Gray, Coastal Sand and Weathered Walnut. This listing is Driftwood Gray; ask us about the other two.

Where should the outlet go?

The guide places the dedicated outlet at the center of the wall within the marked area. Check the fireplace manual for its power needs before you wire.
