Will it work on my older Orion?
Modern Flames lists 01-00297 for the Orion V2 models. The Orion Traditional, Slim and Multi (V1) use the Orion Series remote 01-00110.
How do I pair the new remote?
Per the Orion Slim V2 manual: press and hold the fireplace Power button for 5 seconds until it beeps and shows P1, then within 5 seconds press the remote power button repeatedly until the fireplace beeps again. It may take more than one try.
How do I confirm this is the right part?
Read the model number on your fireplace's rating label and match it to the models above. Part 01-00297 is listed for those models in Modern Flames' replacement parts list. If you are not sure, send us the model and serial number and we will check before you order.
