The Mater Ocean Lounge Chair is a low slung recycled plastic outdoor lounge chair with a 15.4 inch seat height and a slatted back that drains instead of holding water. No cushion, no cover, no end of season ritual.
Why it works outside
- Built for weather Ocean is Mater's outdoor collection. The frame is recycled steel tube in a gunmetal finish and the slats are solid recycled plastic, so there is no cushion to haul in and nothing to rot.
- Stacks four high Shoulder season storage is one stack in a corner of the garage.
- Nothing absorbs water The slats are solid recycled plastic, so a thunderstorm is a non event and you can sit down ten minutes later.

Because every batch is milled from reclaimed waste, color and speckle vary slightly from piece to piece. That variation is the material, not a flaw.

Sold as a single chair. Arrives two to a carton. Designed by Jorgen and Nanna Ditzel. Made in Poland. Wipe down with mild soap and water. Processing is typically two to three weeks from order. Mater ships direct to you, curbside, so plan on a hand to carry it in from the curb. We quote freight separately before anything ships.
