Questions people ask us

Where can the outdoor side go?

Majestic defines an outdoor space as walls on all sides with no overhead cover, a covered area with no more than two side walls, or a covered area with three side walls when at least 30% of the perimeter is permanently open. The exterior side must be flush with or project from the wall.

Which front do I need?

The FS-TWI front is required for floor or elevated hearth installations. The TWI-MOD modern front needs at least 3/4 inch of elevation and cannot be used with the fan kit. See fronts and trims.

Natural gas or propane?

Majestic rates the Twilight at 38,000 BTU/h on natural gas and 36,000 on propane. Conversion needs a certified kit and a qualified technician, so tell us your fuel when you order.

Does it heat the room?

It is listed as a decorative appliance, not a heat source. Expect warmth near the fire rather than whole-room heat.
