The Majestic Royalton is a wood-burning fireplace with a 36 or 42 inch opening (BE36, BE42), listed to UL 127 and ULC-S610. It ships with its brick refractory, firescreen and grate and runs on the 8 inch SL300 series chimney. It is a straightforward traditional wood fireplace for new construction or a remodel.

A hearth extension is required.The Royalton needs a non-combustible, insulated hearth extension, sold separately. Majestic wood-burning fireplaces should be installed by a qualified, certified installer to the instructions and local codes. If you add a gas log set, a licensed gas professional should make the gas connection to the instructions and local codes.

What is included?

The Royalton ships with its refractory, firescreen and grate. The chimney, hearth extension and any doors are separate.

What chimney does it use?

The SL300 series, 8 in. inside diameter. See chimney and venting.

Can I add glass doors?

Yes. Majestic lists DM1036 and DM1042 bi-fold glass doors, in black or stainless steel. See doors and screens.

Can I burn gas logs in it?

A decorative vented gas log set can be installed up to 100,000 BTU/h with the damper fully open. Unvented logs are not allowed. See gas log sets.
