The Majestic Lanai screen is the optional protection screen for the Lanai outdoor gas fireplace, in 48, 60 and 72 inch sizes. It keeps sticks, leaves and other debris out of the firebox when the fireplace is not in use, and the Lanai may be operated with it installed. Part numbers ODLANAIG-48SCN, ODLANAIG-60SCN and ODLANAIG-72SCN.

Yes. The Lanai manual says the appliance may be operated with the screen installed.
