Questions people ask us

How much heat does the Marquis II make?

Maximum natural gas input is 44,000 BTU/h for the 36" and 54,500 BTU/h for the 42", per the installation manual.

Does it work in a power outage?

Yes, for emergencies. The IntelliFire Touch system can run on four AA batteries (not included) during a power outage. Normal operation uses 110-120 VAC.

Which front do I need?

A decorative barrier front is required and sold separately. Majestic offers firescreen fronts in black, gun metal and new bronze. See Majestic fronts and trims.

Is there a propane version?

The manual rates both sizes on propane as well. These SKUs are natural gas, so ask us about LP.
