The Majestic Jasper 30 (JASPER30IN) is a 30 inch direct vent gas fireplace insert rated 30,000 BTU/h on natural gas with IntelliFire pilot ignition. It fits into a masonry or factory-built wood-burning fireplace and vents up the chimney on a LINK-DV kit. It is a straightforward way to swap wood for split-log gas flames.

Check your firebox against the minimum opening.The Jasper 30 needs a decorative barrier front ordered at the time of purchase, a surround and a LINK-DV vent kit. Majestic fireplaces should be installed by a qualified, certified installer. A licensed gas professional should make the gas connection to the instructions and local codes.

Questions people ask us

Will it fit my fireplace?

The minimum opening is 31-5/8 in. wide at the front, 21 in. high and 15 in. deep, narrowing to 20-1/8 in. at the rear. Send us your measurements to confirm.

What ignition does it use?

IntelliFire pilot ignition (IPI) on a 3 volt valve, powered by the supplied cord assembly and transformer. Two D cell batteries can run it during a power outage.

What else do I need?

A decorative barrier front, a surround and a LINK-DV vent kit. A fan and a brick refractory kit are options. See fronts and surrounds and venting.
