The Majestic Inside Fit is a black mesh barrier front that sits inside the surround opening of a Majestic gas insert, made in 30 and 35 inch sizes. Majestic offers it for installations that need a custom surround smaller than a standard overlap front. Majestic lists it for the Ruby, Trilliant, Ruby Platinum and Jasper inserts. Which inserts take the Inside Fit?
The 30" fits the Ruby 30, Trilliant 30, Ruby Platinum 30 and Jasper 30. The 35" fits the Ruby 35, Trilliant 35 and Ruby Platinum 35. Majestic also makes a 25" version.
How is it different from the other fronts?
The Inside Fit sits within the surround opening rather than over it. Majestic offers it for installations that need a custom surround smaller than a standard overlap front, and its instructions have you leave off the surround hood with this front.
Do I still need a surround?
Yes. A surround goes on the insert first. Majestic makes standard sizes and an on-site custom surround for these inserts.
