The Majestic FSMQ firescreen front is the decorative barrier front for the Marquis II direct vent gas fireplace. It covers the 36 and 42 inch Marquis II and the Marquis II 42 see-through, and puts a screen between the room and the hot glass. Part numbers FSMQ36BK, FSMQ42GM and FSMQ42STBK.

A barrier front is required.The Marquis II manuals say the fireplace requires an installed decorative barrier front to prevent direct contact with the hot viewing glass, that it must be ordered at the time of the fireplace purchase, and not to run the fireplace with the barrier removed.

Which Marquis II do I have?

Check the rating plate. MARQ36IN-B takes the FSMQ36, MARQ42IN-B takes the FSMQ42, and the see-through MARQ42STIN takes the FSMQ42ST.

How many fronts does the see-through need?

The see-through manual lists the FSMQ42ST as the approved front but does not state a count. A see-through has glass on both faces, so ask us and we will confirm the quantity for your install.

Which finishes are there?

Majestic shows the Marquis II firescreen front in Black, Gun Metal and New Bronze. We list FSMQ36 in Black, FSMQ42 in Gun Metal and FSMQ42ST in Black. Ask us about other combinations.
