These are the Majestic interior kits for the Courtyard 36 and Courtyard 42 outdoor gas fireplaces: brick-look refractory fiber panels or a stainless steel liner. Choose Brown, Black or Gray brick in a herringbone or traditional pattern, or the stainless steel liner for a clean metal firebox. The no-refractory Courtyard models, ODCOUG-36NR and ODCOUG-42NR, must be finished with one of these kits.

Questions people ask us

Do I need one of these kits?

If your Courtyard is an -NR model (ODCOUG-36NR or ODCOUG-42NR), yes. Majestic's install manual says those units must be finished with one of the refractory kit options. The manual also notes that running without one is an appearance issue only, not a fire safety concern.

What is the difference between herringbone and traditional?

Both are brick-look refractory fiber panels in the same colors. Herringbone lays the brick in a zig-zag pattern, traditional in straight running courses. The stainless steel liner gives a smooth metal firebox instead of brick.

Which styles come in the 42" size?

We list the 42" kits in Brown Herringbone, Brown Traditional, Black Herringbone, Gray Herringbone, Gray Traditional and the stainless steel liner. Majestic also makes a 42" Black Traditional kit (ODCOUG-42BKTR); ask us if you want that one.

Is the Courtyard refractory sold for other fireplaces?

Majestic lists them as options for the Courtyard 36 and 42. Send us your model and serial number and we will confirm the right kit.
