The whole yard, in one box

Klipsch Courtyard 4.1 Landscape Speaker System with Subwoofer

Four satellites, a 10 inch subwoofer, the stakes and the hardware, all in a single carton. Klipsch put a horn loaded tweeter in a landscape speaker, which is why this sounds like a Klipsch and not like background music.

  • A horn, outdoorsThe 1 inch aluminum dome sits on a Tractrix horn, which throws sound forward instead of letting it wash out across the lawn. It is the reason this system stays clear at a distance.
  • IPX7, which is a real numberNot weather resistant, not all weather. IPX7 is a tested immersion rating, and it is the strongest weather spec on any landscape system we carry.
  • One carton, one afternoonSatellites, sub, mounting posts with ground stakes, wire concealment, connectors, hammer cap and the Allen key. Nothing to order separately to finish the job.

Expandable to eight satellites and two subs

Klipsch publishes the load at every step: 8 ohms at 4.1, 6 ohms at 6.1, 4 ohms at 8.1. Start here, add the two pack when the yard grows, and check your amplifier before you pass 6.1.

Common questions

What exactly is in the box?

Four satellite speakers, one 10 inch subwoofer, mounting posts with ground stakes, wire concealment, silicone wire nuts, a hammer cap and an Allen key.

How big an area does it cover?

The satellites throw 120 degrees vertical by 60 horizontal and are aimable, with the subwoofer omnidirectional. Klipsch designs the 4.1 as a whole yard system and sells a two satellite expansion for larger properties.

Does it need a special amplifier?

No. It is an 8 ohm system as configured, so a normal receiver or amplifier drives it. Expanding past six satellites is where impedance starts to matter.

What finish does it come in?

Brown matte, which is the only finish Klipsch offers on the Courtyard line.

How fast does this ship?

Delivery choices are shown at checkout. If you need a date confirmed before you order, call 631-678-6506 and we will confirm it with the warehouse first.
