Questions people ask us
How do I confirm it is the right part?
Find the model and serial number on the rating plate of your fireplace, then check the part number on the service parts list for that model. Hearth & Home Technologies lists this part for the Courtyard 42, ODCOUG-42 (T, PT, PH), built March 2018 to June 2023. Send us the model and serial and we will check it for you.
Is this the whole set?
No. It is the back panel only. The full premium herringbone assembly is FBPREMH42.
Does it fit the newer Courtyard TS models?
The newer ODCOUG-42TS and -42NR list different refractory kits. Send us your model and we will check.
Can I replace it myself?
Turn off the gas at the appliance valve and the power, and let the fireplace cool fully first. Firebox parts should be fitted as the owner's and installation manuals show, and a qualified service technician should do the work if it means moving logs, media or the burner.
