Questions people ask us
How do I confirm it is the right part?
Find the model and serial number on the rating plate of your fireplace, then check the part number on the service parts list for that model. Hearth & Home Technologies lists this part for the Courtyard ODCOUG-42TS and ODCOUG-42NR. Send us the model and serial and we will check it for you.
Does it fit the Courtyard 36?
No. The ODCOUG-36TS lists screen rod SRV4153-302.
Can I replace it myself?
Turn off the gas at the appliance valve and the power, and let the fireplace cool fully first. Firebox parts should be fitted as the owner's and installation manuals show, and a qualified service technician should do the work if it means moving logs, media or the burner.
