Questions people ask us
How do I confirm it is the right part?
Find the model and serial number on the rating plate of your fireplace, then check the part number on the service parts list for that model. Hearth & Home Technologies lists this part for the Courtyard ODCOUG-36 and ODCOUG-42 (2018 to 2023) and the Lanai 48 and 60, including the see-through models. Send us the model and serial and we will check it for you.
Is the wall switch included?
No. This is the wire assembly. The power switch, switch box and cover plate are separate parts.
Who should install it?
Turn off the power and the gas and let the fireplace cool first. A qualified service technician should replace control and electrical parts, following the wiring in the installation manual. Where the manual calls for it, a licensed electrician should do the wiring.
