How do I confirm it is the right part?

How many do I need?
The list shows two per fireplace. Each order is one strip. The Lanai 48 uses a different strip, SRV4099-321.
Can I replace it myself?
Turn off the gas at the appliance valve and the power, and let the fireplace cool fully first. Firebox parts should be fitted as the owner's and installation manuals show, and a qualified service technician should do the work if it means moving logs, media or the burner.
